Whether your horse is recovering from injury, illness, or surgery; in need of a restful layup; or looking for a forever home in retirement, our team is dedicated to providing exceptional care at every stage.

Stone Beck Farm was established to provide horses with the care necessary to ensure the best possible prognosis following hospital stays & challenging diagnoses. Our first patients were ones recovering from surgery and laminitis, but we have since expanded to many different aspects of aftercare, including isolation and rehabilitation. 

Dr. Craig Lesser grew up the child of two veterinarians. His parents owned and operated an equine practice on their family farm, allowing him to spend his entire childhood preparing for this role as an equine veterinarian and caregiver.

After veterinary school and an internship in Minnesota, Craig completed an equine podiatry fellowship under the mentorship of Dr. Scott Morrison at Rood & Riddle Equine Hospital.

As a current member of the podiatry department at Rood & Riddle, Craig has the pleasure of collaborating with veterinarians and farriers around the world to improve the care and treatment of horses like yours.
